What is Disk Management?

In macOS Sequoia, Disk Management allows you to set mount restrictions for external and network drives. Kandji admins can choose to enable or disable the use of external and network storage entirely or only allow the use of read-only media.

This Library Item requires macOS Sequoia.

Add and Configure the Disk Management Library Item

  1. Navigate to Library in the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Click Add New on the top-right, and choose Disk Management.
  3. Click Add & Configure.
  4. Give the new Disk Management Library Item a Name
  5. Assign to your desired Assignment Maps or Classic Blueprints
  6. Select your desired access level for External volumes.
  7. Select your desired access level for Network volumes.
  8. Click Save.
