Creating a Blueprint

By Declan Alleyne

Learn how to create a new Blueprint in your Kandji Account

Kandji makes it easy to create, modify, delete, and duplicate Blueprints. Creating a new Blueprint lets you specify a new set of behaviors and library items to be deployed to a group of devices.

Examples

  • You are new to Kandji and want to define what will be deployed to your devices.
  • A new department at your company requires a completely different set of parameters and library items deployed to their devices.
  • Your company needs to comply with a standard for which Kandji has a pre-configured template.

Adding a Blank Blueprint

  1. Log in to your Kandji account and click on Blueprints in the navigation menu.
  2. Click on the New Blueprint button.
  3. Click Start from Scratch and Enter a name and description of the new Blueprint in the popup menu.
  4. Click Create Blueprint.

Adding a Blueprint Template

  1. Log in to your Kandji account and click on Blueprints in the navigation menu.
  2. Click on the New Blueprint button.
